"Kick Starting Creativity Without Screwing Up the Idea" is the presentation that Joe Fournet of creative services agency Ideas & MORE has been asked to deliver during this year's City of Houston Administrative Professional Conference. Hosted at the George R. Brown Convention Center this Wednesday, May 12, the conference plays on the theme "Imagination: Awakening the Power Within You" and will feature two speaker tracks, Power of Positive Thinking and Success Consciousness.
Mr. Fournet, while talking on various techniques of idea generation and what it takes to be creative, will have some fun with his audience showcasing winning and wacky ways to kick-start the creative process while staying true to the core ideas. During this not-so-traditional delivery, a special appearance by and true story about the Energizer Bunny versus the Texas Border Patrol is an expected highlight. Other points to be discussed include: Creativity Survival Kit, Warp Speed Thinking/Idea Generation, Management's Responsibility to Creativity, Don't Bring a Dead Cat Without a Shovel, and Guidelines to Enhance One's Creativity.
A published author and speaker, Joe Fournet has been involved in the advertising and marketing industry as a writer and creative director for over 20 years. During that time, he has served a variety of clients both in business-to-business and business-to-consumer capacities. He currently serves on both the American Advertising Federation-Houston and Only in Houston Boards of Directors.
